Halton Healthcare seeks a dedicated Temporary Part time Registered Nurse for its nursery department in Milton. This role provides critical support to neonates during adaptable 12-hour shifts.
In this position, you will be responsible for caring for neonates requiring moderate to high-risk interventions in a Level II nursery setting. The role demands a strong background in Neonatal Nursing and entails responsibilities like patient assessment, care planning, and family-centered support. You'll contribute to a collaborative setting focused on patient satisfaction and quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care to high-risk neonates
• Collaborate with families and healthcare teams
• Plan and assess individualized patient care
• Document care and manage patient records
• Ensure compliance with safety and health policies
Requirements:
• Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS certification and NICU course
• At least 2 years Neonatal Nursing experience
• Proficiency in IV and phlebotomy
• Strong ability to handle physical demands of the role
