Drive sport performance excellence as the Sport Performance Manager at Abilities Centre in Whitby, Ontario. This role emphasizes Long-Term Athlete Development, inclusive practice, and effective athlete monitoring.

Reporting to the Director of Sport and Recreation, the Manager of Sport Performance will lead sports programs that enhance performance across Able-Bodied, Para, and Special Olympic sports. You'll oversee training frameworks, athlete development, and sports performance strategies, ensuring comprehensive services to enhance each athlete's journey. Emphasizing collaboration and creative solutions, this role is vital to our community’s athletic success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Technical Sport Streams and athlete performance tracking
• Develop, implement, and evaluate sports-specific programs




• Manage relationships with local and national sport organizations
• Lead Strength and Conditioning program development
• Create and manage the Integrated Support Team curriculum

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in related field required
• Experience with high performance and/or student athletes
• Knowledge of Long-Term Athlete Development principles
• Required professional certification in relevant specialty
• Robust organizational and interpersonal skills
