WISH Drop-In Centre is searching for a dedicated Treasurer to guide financial oversight on its Board of Directors. This critical role is focused on policy development and ensuring the fiscal health of the organization.

As Treasurer, you will inject your financial expertise into a two to six-year Board tenure with WISH. You will supervise the establishment of financial policies, contribute to budgeting, and lead the organization in understanding financial risks. This is an prospect to impact the lives of sex workers while promoting safety and dignity in their work and lives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Guide high-level financial policy development
• Support the board in annual budget approvals
• Present financial insights from monthly and quarterly statements




• Liaise with independent auditors for annual audits
• Advise on bookkeeping and investment strategies

Requirements:
• Proven treasurer or financial management experience
• Knowledge of systemic barriers faced by sex workers
• Alignment with WISH’s values and commitments
• Ability to help the board make informed financial decisions
• Availability for a two to six-year board commitment
