Role Description The Store Manager role at Tokyo Express is a full-time, in office position based in Edmonton, AB. The Store Manager oversees daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring food safety standards are followed. This role leads and coaches team members to deliver excellent customer service, maintain cleanliness, and uphold brand standards. The Store Manager monitors sales performance, manages cash handling, and implements loss prevention practices. The role also involves resolving customer concerns,



coordinating with suppliers, and supporting hiring, training, and performance feedback for the team.
Qualifications
Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction capabilities.
Effective interpersonal skills, including explicit Communication and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
Experience in Store Management, including staff supervision, scheduling, and daily operations in a retail or restaurant environment.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, cash handling, and basic financial controls.
Previous leadership experience in food service or retail is preferred.
Ability to work full time in office in Edmonton, AB, including evenings and weekends as required.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Food safety certification and familiarity with local health regulations are an asset.
