As an Assistant Professor in the Automotive Department, you will have the chance to teach a range of Automotive Foundation and Apprenticeship courses. You will also develop new courses and participate in departmental initiatives to enhance learning experiences. The position encourages the incorporation of Indigenous perspectives to broaden course relevance and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach all levels of Automotive Foundation and Apprenticeship courses
• Develop cutting-edge and engaging current courses
• Involve yourself in departmental activities and events
• Incorporate Indigenous perspectives into the curriculum
• Commit to ongoing professional growth
Requirements:
• Preferably hold a Provincial Instructor’s Diploma
• Certified Red Seal Automotive Service Technician
• At least five years of related industry experience
• University or college teaching experience preferred
Contribute to the development of future automotive professionals at UFV while promoting diversity and inclusion.
