Support vulnerable clients as a part-time Mental Health Clinician at Good Shepherd. Focus on mental health and dignity while collaborating within the Integrated Health Team.
This role demands a passionate skilled ready to engage with our community by providing direct services to clients involved in the Reaching Home program. You will leverage your mental health expertise to conduct assessments and create tailored support plans for individuals facing homelessness and substance use. Your work will be essential in promoting hope and quality of life for those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments to identify and respond to client needs
• Provide comprehensive crisis counseling and support
• Facilitate collaboration among health and social service teams
• Participate in the ICM team to enhance overall care
• Liaise with community organizations to improve access
Requirements:
• MSW or BSW with experience in mental health settings
• Strong knowledge of local social service systems
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification and driver's license
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to diversity and anti-oppressive practices
