Position Overview

Commercial Property Manager , based at Place Longueuil, reporting to the Senior Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

- Manage vendor accounts, tenant billing, building‑related operating expenses, supplier invoicing and recurring payments.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the buildings.
- Manage critical equipment and infrastructure.
- Oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment.
- Be accountable for building operations.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare and manage operating budgets, monthly analysis reports and service contracts.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of systems, equipment and buildings.
- Build strong tenant‑manager relationships to support smooth operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing all requests.
- Manage incidents, ensure compliance with company and industry standards and protocols, oversee safety and supervise building operations technicians.
- Provide consulting services on projects, investment planning and budgeting related to building operations.
- Ensure systems are maintained or upgraded according to industry best practices and manufacturer recommendations to prevent or quickly resolve system failures, thereby avoiding service interruptions and losses.
- Perform any other related duties.

Qualifications





- Hold a university degree (Bachelor’s level), preferably in engineering, urban planning or architecture, or possess equivalent experience.
- Have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in a similar role.
- Hold one of the following certifications: CFM, FMP or RPA.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of Yardi software.
- Familiar with a CMMS and have participated in its implementation.
- Solid understanding of accounting and budgeting processes.
