In this certified role, you will assist in planning and executing leisure activities, ensuring fulfillment of care goals within the community. Your tasks include maintaining activity calendars and identifying therapeutic interventions, enriching the lives of those with dementia. Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate leisure activities in line with residents' care needs
• Support personalized care plans for optimal engagement
• Develop and manage area-specific activity calendars




• Promote residents' skills and community involvement
• Create therapeutic recreation goals for individuals
Requirements:
• Degree in Recreation/Therapeutic Recreation required
• 2 years’ experience in Long Term Care settings
• Effective communication skills both written and oral
• Familiarity with dementia care programming
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including weekends
