Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer for its Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls team in Toronto or Calgary. In this position, you will drive the development of advanced automation solutions for municipal water systems. Key responsibilities include overseeing ICS design for projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality, compliant designs through technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and integration of Instrumentation and Control Systems
• Develop technical documents including P&IDs; and design drawings




• Oversee work of ICS design team and coordinate with disciplines
• Participate in stakeholder meetings throughout the project phases
• Support commissioning activities and conduct site inspections
Requirements:
• P.Eng. or LET designation in Ontario preferred
• 10+ years of experience in municipal water systems
• Expertise in PLC and SCADA system design and programming
• Robust understanding of electrical and control design standards
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
