In the position of Technician Trainer, you will report to the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor II and be crucial in identifying and fulfilling training requirements for pharmacy staff. You will align training with the standards set by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia and ensure ongoing staff competency. This role will also require participation in quality audits and execution of routine Pharmacy Technician duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify training needs for pharmacy assistants and technicians
• Oversee the coordination of staff training sessions
• Conduct quality assurance audits in pharmacy
• Fulfill the duties of a Pharmacy Technician as required
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy practice standards
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 and Pharmacy Technician program
• At least two years of relevant work experience
• Active registration with the College of Pharmacists of BC
• Excellent communication abilities
• Supervisory capabilities and interpersonal skills
