As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will play a vital role in community safety and cleanliness by maintaining our fleet of trucks and heavy equipment. This position requires expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, utilizing advanced tools for productive operations. Your daily tasks will involve cooperative teamwork, focusing on service quality and repair efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance on diverse heavy-duty vehicles
• Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment




• Complete daily reports and work orders
• Plan repairs with the M5 planner system
• Collaborate on mechanical write-ups and repair schedules

Requirements:
• Current Red Seal or B.C. Journeyperson certification
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Proven experience in mechanical system maintenance
• Ability to meet safety standards
• Capable of lifting items up to 100 lbs
