Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, you will be part of the Long-Stay Program, working with an interprofessional team. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing recreation plans, facilitating therapeutic activities, and documenting patient progress. You will address patients' holistic needs, helping them toward ventilation liberation and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct needs assessments for individual clients
• Develop and implement therapeutic recreation programs
• Schedule and facilitate group recreational activities




• Document patient progress and program evaluation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care

Requirements:
• Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies, Therapeutic Recreation
• Member in valuable standing with Therapeutic Recreation Ontario
• 1 to 3 years of clinical experience in recreation therapy
• Current Basic Rescuer Certificate in Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Robust interpersonal and communication skills in English
