Enhance healthcare safety as a Clinical Engineer at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Work with medical equipment management in a full time, five-day-a-week role at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
You will join a dedicated team responsible for the lifecycle management of non-complex medical equipment in various clinical settings, ensuring safety and functionality. The position involves preventative maintenance, testing, and supporting the medical device library service. Alongside, you will contribute to stock control and maintain accurate records to comply with governance standards while interacting with clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support lifecycle management of medical equipment across clinical areas
• Conduct maintenance, repairs, and safety testing of devices
• Maintain accurate records on Asset Management System
• Log service requests and liaise with clinical teams
• Assist in stock control of parts and equipment supplies
Requirements:
• SCQF Level 6 education or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical equipment or engineering principles
• Robust organizational and communication skills
• Excellent manual dexterity
• Eagerness to learn about recent technologies
