TSR Consulting is currently seeking a highly motivated Data Platform Engineer for an onsite opportunity in Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, CN Duration: 6+ Months We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer with robust experience in database administration, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, workflow orchestration, and event streaming technologies. The ideal candidate should have experience managing production data platforms, optimizing database performance, and supporting reliable data integration solutions.
Required Skills: Robust experience with MongoDB, MS SQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
Expertise in data modeling, schema design, and query optimization.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development.
Experience with Apache Airflow, schedulers, and cron jobs.
Experience with Apache Kafka and Solace.
Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
Experience with production support, monitoring, backup/recovery, and security best practices.
Preferred Skills: Node.js
