Job Purpose
The Electroneurophysiology Technologist 2 is responsible for providing EEG and/or EMG services.

Qualifications

Completion of a recognized course for Electroneurophysiology Technologists.

Must be a member of the Canadian Association of Electroneurophysiology Technologists.

Must be registered with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalography Technologists.

Ability to attend work on a regular basis.

Ability to perform the duties of the position.

Positive work record.

Key Responsibilities
The Electroneurophysiology Technologist 2 is responsible for:

Preparing patients for E.E.G. and/or E.M.G procedures

Preparing and operating equipment

Screening tests and preparing reports for physicians

Cleaning, inspecting, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment

Maintaining clinical records and documentation

Monitoring patients interoperatively





Providing mentoring and support for technicians and other health care professionals
