Participate in ACS’s push for voting rights through a range of volunteer prospects tailored for lawyers and law students. Help ensure elections are fair and accessible to all eligible citizens.
This role enables volunteers to explore vital projects aimed at expanding voting rights, including in-person activities and remote research options. You will engage with the community, focusing on educational outreach about the U.S. Constitution and promoting civic participation on Election Day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engaging discussions on constitutional rights
• Teach in local schools about voting laws
• Assist in voter protection initiatives
• Support law school actions on Election Day
• Participate in research and advocacy projects
Requirements:
• Legal education or current law student status
• Robust desire to enhance voting access
• Experience in teaching or public speaking
• Ability to collaborate with diverse groups
• Commitment to promoting civic responsibility
