This role requires a solid foundation in utility design, with a minimum of three years of overall engineering experience, including two years in electrical utility work. You will be responsible for significant projects and collaborate with seasoned engineers to develop your expertise toward P.Eng. designation while driving holistic energy solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to design and planning of electrical utility projects
• Work with senior engineers on interdisciplinary initiatives
• Manage detailed power system planning and renewable integration
• Explore asset management and maintenance strategies
• Analyze microgrids and energy storage systems
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience
• Two years in electrical utility design required
• Current EIT registration with APEGA or APEGS
• Familiarity with power modeling software
• Substation and transmission experience is a plus
