Advance your mechanical career with Redpath in a remote setting at Newmont's Musselwhite project. This role offers a balanced rotation of 14 days on, 14 days off, working 12-hour shifts. You will carry out critical maintenance and repairs on a range of mining equipment.
Skills in diagnosing electrical and hydraulic systems will be essential, along with understanding safety regulations in an underground workplace. Your work will directly contribute to equipment efficiency and operational safety. Key Responsibilities:
Carry out diagnostic testing and repairs on various equipment
Maintain compliance with all safety regulations
Adjust and repair powertrain and braking systems
Test repaired machinery for optimal performance
Provide training and support to recent team members
Requirements:
Journeyman qualification preferred
3 years of mining experience beneficial
Skills in hydraulic and electrical circuits
Familiarity with diagnostic and service manuals
Robust organizational and leadership abilities
