Sharp Brains Limited is actively seeking an experienced Network Engineer / Network Architect to join our global network of field engineers. This is a Dispatch-Based Freelance Contract, ideal for professionals looking to support enterprise networking, security, and data center projects on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable network solutions based on business and technical requirements. Implement and support enterprise network infrastructure, security, and connectivity solutions. Perform network assessments, architecture reviews, and provide strategic design recommendations. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Deploy and maintain network security technologies and best practices. Create and maintain technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams, as-built documentation, BOMs, and knowledge transfer materials. Support operational escalations and ensure network performance, availability, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve network architecture and operational efficiency.
Required
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in enterprise networking, network architecture,
or infrastructure engineering. Strong hands-on experience with: F5 Load Balancers Advanced knowledge of: TCP/IP IPSEC Site-to-Site VPN Client VPN NAT VRF Strong understanding of Data Center technologies: VPC VDC FCoE Virtual Switching Expertise in Layer 2 technologies
Switching VLANs Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) Expertise in Layer 3 routing protocols
BGP OSPF EIGRP MPLS Experience with Wireless Network Design and Configuration. Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications
