Equinox Gold's Valentine Gold Mine seeks an Environmental Technician to oversee compliance and sampling efforts. This position involves fieldwork on a 14 days in/out rotation to ensure regulatory adherence.

As part of the Environmental team, you'll report to the Environmental Superintendent and play a key role in managing environmental compliance tasks, including sampling, audits, and promoting safety standards. You'll also support planning and documentation for various projects, impacting both environmental management and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough environmental sampling and documentation
• Maintain sampling equipment and ensure proper handling
• Conduct audits and report non-compliance issues




• Support the implementation of environmental protection plans
• Assist with data preparation for regulatory reporting

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• At least 5 years of environmental experience required
• Pleasure Craft Operators Certificate is a must
• Previous remote site experience is preferred
• Robust analytical abilities and attention to detail
