As a member of the Diagnostic Imaging team, you will perform various nuclear medicine procedures, including SPECT examinations. This position emphasizes patient safety and high-quality care, requiring both teamwork and the ability to work independently. Your skills in operating specialized equipment will play a crucial role in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures
• Use wide-ranging imaging and safety equipment
• Ensure the quality of examinations through equipment maintenance
• Provide comprehensive patient support and care
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
Requirements:
• Diploma from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Active registration or eligibility with Alberta College of Medical Technologists
• Registry exam completion in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• BCLS certification and venipuncture experience
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
