Job Details Job ID: Job Title: Applications Architect - Intermediate Location: Toronto, ON (ONSITE) Duration: 162 Days (with possible extension) Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: CAD $80-$90 per hour Seeking an experienced Applications Architect with 10+ years of experience to lead solution architecture, cloud application design, enterprise architecture artifacts, and technical governance for large-scale public sector IT projects.

Key Responsibilities Design and develop cloud/SaaS application architectures and technical solutions.

Create enterprise architecture artifacts including: Business Architecture Document (BAD) Solution Architecture Document (SAD) Solution Requirements Document (SRD) Information Architecture Document (IAD) Lead architecture review board (ARB) activities and project gating approvals. Develop logical/physical data models, data dictionaries, CRUD matrices, and integration/interface documentation. Ensure privacy, security, testing, and compliance requirements are addressed.

Support UAT/testing, onboarding documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.



Collaborate with business, technical, and stakeholder teams throughout project lifecycle. Must-Have Skills ~10+ years of IT architecture experience. ~ Robust experience with: ~ Cloud and SaaS architecture ~ RESTful APIs and integration patterns ~ Enterprise security and application security best practices ~ Microservices, layered, and event‑driven architecture Experience with structured SDLC methodologies.

Expertise in enterprise architecture standards and artifacts. Hands‑on experience with architecture modeling tools such as: Enterprise Architect Power Designer Robust communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Sector experience.
