This full time leadership role requires an extensive background in non-profit operations and community engagement. You will oversee outreach, shelter programs, and ensure adherence to feminist and anti-oppressive principles. The position emphasizes empowerment and intersectional practices, aligned with Atira's commitment to systemic change and respect for all identities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide oversight for outreach and community programs
• Manage program budgets and performance metrics
• Support Program Managers and frontline staff
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards
• Develop funding proposals and grant applications
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required, Master’s preferred
• Extensive non-profit management experience
• Solid knowledge of feminist and anti-oppression practices
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
