AWHL is hiring a Training and Outreach Specialist to support community education and crisis intervention efforts. This blended role involves developing workshops, engaging with public agencies, and delivering direct support to individuals seeking assistance. Ideal candidates will have experience in education, outreach, and crisis management, along with a commitment to anti-oppressive practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead workshops and community education sessions
• Engage with community partners to enhance outreach efforts
• Update educational resources and materials




• Provide coverage on the crisis line via phone and text
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain documentation
Requirements:
• Education in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields
• At least two years of experience in related services
• Knowledge of gender-based violence and elder abuse
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• A valid Ontario driver’s licence and vehicle access
