Responsibilities of a Detention Centre Security Guard

- Watch and assist with processing of detainees
- Regular wellness checks every 15 minutes
- Recognize medical concerns
- Complete documentation





Qualifications Of a Detention Centre Security Guard

- Policing / correctional training or 3+ years of security experience
- Permanent Canadian resident for a minimum of 5 years
- Have a clear criminal background
- Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Reliability Security Clearance status
- First Aid CPR Level C (issued by Red Cross, St John Ambulance, Heart and Stroke)
