OZZ Electric BC is an industry leading contractor working on exciting highrise residential and commercial projects across the lower mainland. You will join our growing team to support your site crew in all electrical activities to help build state-of-the-art projects for our clients.

Responsibilities

As an Apprentice you will be responsible for:

- Installing various electrical equipment including sub-panels and transformers, lighting, raceway systems, heating and cooling systems, and motors
- Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit
- Pulling wire through conduit
- Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety
- Ensuring maintenance of tools, equipment, and personal protection equipment

Educational And Professional Requirements

- Safety-first attitude
- General knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirements
- Positive communication skills
- Apprentice Electrician ticket, completion of an electrical foundations or ELTT
- Program (not required)
- Experience in high-rise residential construction (an asset)

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions




- Typical 5-day work week; overtime may be required to meet construction deadlines
- Local work in Vancouver island
