#26-47 – One (1) Full Time Psychometrist– 7 Month Contract – Timmins

The Cochrane Temiskaming Resource Centre (CTRC)is seeking a Psychometrist to join its team in Timmins. CTRC is a regionalDevelopmental Services provider offering programs across the Districts ofTemiskaming and Cochrane including coastal communities along James and HudsonBay.

The successful candidate will workcollaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team offering supports toindividuals with Developmental Disabilities. The main responsibilities of thePsychometrist include performing psychometric testing, behavioural assessmentsas well as implementing developmental and behavioural intervention strategiesand plans under the direction of the Supervisor of Psychological Services.

Psychometrist MA Level: Wages $34.30 – 38.10/hour

PsychometristBA Honours: Wages$32.48 – 35.84/hour

Hours of Work : 75hours/2 weeks

Plus: 4% vacation paid twice annual and 10% in lieu ofbenefits paid each pay period

The successful candidate for M.A.



level Psychometrist must have aMaster’s Degree in Psychology and be registered as a Certified PsychologicalAssociate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, or be a Board CertifiedBehaviour Analyst (BCBA/BCaBA). Graduate level Certificate or a B.A. HonorsLevel in Psychology may be considered.Specific background courses in psychometric testing and behaviourmodification is preferred as well as having worked with individuals with a developmentaldisability. Ability to operate a computer and various software programs isessential. Other requirements include the ability to work independently and asa member of a multidisciplinary team, valid class G driver’s license and use ofa vehicle. Bilingualism in both Frenchand English would be an asset and may be considered a requirement depending onthe area where the vacancy exists.
