In this full time temporary role, you'll work in the Laboratory Department, performing diagnostic tests on patient specimens. You will rely on your knowledge of CMLTO regulations and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
• Collect samples and conduct a variety of diagnostic tests • Analyze and interpret test results for patient diagnoses • Prepare reports to assist in treatment and prevention of diseases • Ensure quality patient care through planning and collaboration • Participate in quality improvement and risk management initiatives
Requirements: • Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science Degree • Current CMLTO registration and CSMLS Certification • Excellent phlebotomy skills in all collection methods • Familiarity with lab and hospital software systems • 2 years’ clinical experience preferred
