Chai Samosa by Roy’s is urgently hiring an experienced Samosa Maker to join our team.

Requirements
Experience making samosas preferred
Must be reliable and hardworking
Able to work in a rapid-paced kitchen environment

Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with health standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or assembling ingredients under supervision
Support the kitchen team in organizing supplies and stock to ensure smooth operations
Follow food safety protocols and handle food items with care to prevent contamination
Keep floors and workstations sanitized and free of hazards to promote a protected environment
Support serving staff during busy periods by clearing tables and assisting with basic food service needs

Requirements




Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality workplace is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably
Knowledge of basic kitchen operations, including dishwashing and food prep activities
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
Familiarity with hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not required
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
