Qualifications/Skills Current Certificate of Competence [Ontario]
Current B.C.L.S.
B.Sc.N preferred
Post-Basic Neuro course strongly recommended
Current trauma experience required
Experience working in a quick-paced setting; able to manage multiple demands and changing priorities
Surgical experience with skills in pre-op and post-op care and patient/family teaching
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families and co-workers
Excellent assessment skills
Ability to work effectively as a team member
Demonstrated commitment to Person-Centred Care approaches and principles
