Riverbend Medical Practice is a solo GP practice providing comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families in the community. The practice benefits from experienced clerical staff who manage scheduling, billing, and daily operations, ensuring an productive and supportive workplace for both patients and providers. The clinic operates using the MedAccess electronic medical record (EMR) system, enabling streamlined documentation and communication across the care team.

Riverbend Medical Center is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage from August 3rd-28th, 2026.

Locum physicians provide coverage for family practices, including inpatient and nursing home care, as well as specialist hospital and office coverage as requested.





Compensation includes a minimum daily income guarantee of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 for half-day), with additional earnings if shadow billings exceed this amount. Travel expenses, including kilometrage, per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), are reimbursed, along with travel time up to 10 hours per week. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered, and locum physicians may claim Facility On Call fees under specific conditions.
