About Us

Trimet Storage Solutions is a growing storage systems distributor such as pallet racking, cantilever racking, wire mesh decking, and custom steel products. We are looking for a motivated Junior CAD Drafter to join our team at our Southeast Calgary office.

Responsibilities
Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for storage systems and related products.
Develop layout drawings based on customer requirements and site conditions.
Revise drawings based on feedback from customers, engineers, and project managers.
Communicate with customers, contractors, and internal team members to gather project information and resolve drawing questions.
Visit project sites occasionally to verify dimensions, review site conditions, or assist with project coordination.
Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing files.
Work closely with the sales, engineering, and project management teams.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology,



Engineering Technology (Structural, Civil, or Mechanical), Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
Experience with Revit is an asset.
Comfortable interacting with customers and contractors.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
