Reporting to a Building Standards Manager, your responsibilities will include supervising inspectors, managing residential permit activities, and responding to complex inquiries. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and leadership to ensure effective service and adherence to regulations. You'll coach staff and refine operational practices to improve overall effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise staff within the residential inspection program
• Coordinate and conduct residential inspections
• Resolve escalated building compliance issues




• Deliver training and performance evaluations for team members
• Create reports related to permits and inspections

Requirements:
• Minimum two-year post-secondary diploma in engineering technology
• Five years’ experience in building construction
• Two years’ supervisory experience
• Class 3 Building Official Licence required
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence
