Injection Molding Machine Operator
We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Operator (Part‑time) to join our plastic injection molding operations. The operator works under the guidance of our machine technicians to operate machines, assist with mold changes, inspect product quality, and troubleshoot basic issues. The operator ensures the effective production of high‑quality parts and supports the injection team in achieving production goals.
This role requires an individual who thrives in an environment of continuous improvement and problem‑solving.
Operate injection molding machines following SOPs. Monitor machine operations to ensure products are produced efficiently and at the required quality level.
Assist with mold changeover using the correct tools and follow procedures for mold set‑up. Inspect products for quality, ensuring they meet specifications. Mix material and colorant according to specifications.
Regrind excess material and reuse as needed and as directed. Minimum 2 years of experience in injection molding manufacturing. Ability to use basic computer tools. Knowledge of operating lifting equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.).
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for an 8‑hour shift.
