You will engage in scenario analysis, detailed mine design, and educating others in the technical aspects of planning. While primarily office-based, field visits may be necessary to maintain operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:
Lead creation of operational long-range mine plans
Implement best practices for sustainability and technology evaluation
Conduct detailed optimisation studies and scenario analyses
Develop long-range planning models for economic evaluations
Foster a team-oriented and inclusive technical culture

Requirements:
Degree in Mining Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience
Registration eligibility with Engineers and Geoscientists B.C.
Robust strategic and systems thinking
Experience with mine design tools such as MinePlan3D
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
