In this role, you will define the operational performance of Kong’s managed services. Your team will ensure 99.99%+ uptime while building cloud-native systems. Engage actively in implementation and mentoring as you lead a team dedicated to API-driven applications across the Americas and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and ramp up the Managed Gateways SRE team
• Directly support critical reliability and growth initiatives
• Lead and mentor Site Reliability Engineers
• Architect and implement scalable cloud-native systems
• Own end-to-end service lifecycle and improvement
Requirements:
• Proven leadership in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps
• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production
• Proficiency in Golang or similar languages
• Robust incident management and observability skills
