Counsel, you will deliver comprehensive support in legal proceedings, aiding CAMH clinicians in navigating complex issues related to mental health regulations. Engage with various internal teams and external partners, providing crucial advice while developing educational programs to enhance legal understanding within the clinical setting. Key Responsibilities:
Represent CAMH in legal hearings and court cases
Support self-representing clinicians at hearings
Evaluate legal risks in clinical projects
Develop legal training and resource materials
Cultivate relationships with legal and community partners Requirements:
Member in positive standing with the Law Society of Ontario
Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience
Expertise in civil and forensic mental health law
Litigation experience with health regulatory bodies
