The AGCO seeks a full-time Legal Counsel to enhance its Legal Services Division within the Corporate and Regulatory Law Branch. Candidates should have at least five years of legal experience in a similar setting.
Key responsibilities include providing legal advice on compliance, governance, and regulatory matters related to gaming, liquor, and cannabis sectors. Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on AGCO statutes
Advise on corporate law and compliance issues
Draft contracts and legal documentation
Support AGCO Board governance initiatives
Represent the Registrar in external engagements
Requirements:
Law Degree (LL.B. or J.D.) from an accredited institution
Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
5+ years legal experience in a regulatory workplace
Solid analytical and communication skills
Adaptable to evolving regulatory frameworks
