In this role, you will support women, non-binary, and gender-diverse individuals facing mental health challenges. Your expertise in crisis intervention and building therapeutic relationships will lead to impactful outcomes for those experiencing poverty and violence. With a commitment to empowerment, you’ll develop care plans and monitor client progress while collaborating with community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide responsive crisis intervention to de-escalate situations
• Offer individual and group support with therapeutic modalities
• Develop comprehensive wellness and treatment plans
• Monitor and evaluate counseling progress for clients
• Link clients to necessary health and psychiatric services
Requirements:
• Degree in social work or relevant field
• 3-5 years experience in trauma-informed care
• Robust communication and relationship-building skills
• MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel and Word
• Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check required
