Step into a leadership role as a Fund Controller focused on a private credit portfolio based in Montreal or Toronto. You'll lead all accounting operations while nurturing a growing team. Reporting to the CFO, this high-visibility position requires extensive experience in fund accounting for private or alternative funds.

You'll be responsible for overseeing quarterly financial reports, managing relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory compliance across jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee fund accounting operations for multiple private credit funds
Ensure accurate quarterly financial statements and investor reports
Manage journal entries, management fees, and valuations
Direct capital activity involving calls and distributions
Facilitate year-end audits and regulatory compliance processes

Requirements:
8 to 15+ years in fund accounting, with alternative investment experience
Preferred CPA/CA designation and IFRS knowledge
Proven leadership in institutional settings
Knowledge of FATCA/CRS, SLFI, and Level 3 valuations
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
