Position Summary
Outside Sales Representative – Sunbelt Rentals – drives profitable business from a range of equipment. Responsibilities include developing a territory, implementing sales plans, maintaining solid customer relationships, and building Sunbelt’s national brand identity.

What You’ll Do

Develop and execute territory sales plans to expand existing customer base and attract recent customers.

Visit all customers within a five‑week cycle and maintain positive relationships.

Solicit business through planned visits, cold calls, and phone outreach.

Provide technical sales and application solutions for customers.

Coordinate and participate in strategic entertainment of customers.

Complete administrative duties promptly (sales plans, reports, customer records).

Collect payments and maintain accurate records.

Communicate with Marketing, Profit Center Manager, and Rental Manager regarding equipment availability and rental programs.

What We’re Looking For
Education / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in equipment rental, construction, or a similar industry.

2+ years of direct sales experience.

Skills & Abilities





Strong project management, recent business development, and customer retention skills.

Solution‑selling approach with ability to learn technical or engineering concepts.

Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions that ensure customer satisfaction.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Physical & Safety Requirements

Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 25 lbs or more.

Work indoors and outdoors as required.

Compensation and Benefits
Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 – $76,248.00. Total compensation package includes base pay, company vehicle, and a robust commission plan.
