CNL is hiring a Radiation Protection Surveyor Trainee to enhance safety measures at our Manitoba location. This role is essential for supporting environmental compliance during decommissioning projects.
As a trainee, you will work alongside RP Supervisors and help maintain safety standards. Your responsibilities will include performing radiation surveys, maintaining compliance records, and assisting with sample collection. The emphasis is on detail-oriented work that protects both people and the setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct various radiation surveys for contamination and dose rates
• Identify and report radiological conditions to staff
• Document compliance monitoring activities systematically
• Support pre-job briefings and workers' safety
• Assist in the collection and processing of samples
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized advanced technology institute
• Preferred 3 years of radiation protection field experience
• Familiarity with survey techniques and instrumentation
• Robust communication skills for effective collaboration
• Security clearance eligibility with a solid background
