As a permanent full time Supervisor, you will manage a talented team responsible for ensuring compliance and excellence in urban planning. This position involves implementing policies and enhancing processes to facilitate effective land development while focusing on customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development approval process in accordance with local regulations
• Mentor and supervise the planning team effectively




• Engage with community stakeholders and builders for land use negotiations
• Evaluate and enhance departmental programs and strategies
• Oversee public consultation and enforce planning measures
Requirements:
• Degree in Regional or Urban Planning required
• At least five years of experience in municipal settings
• Two years in a supervisory capacity
• Solid knowledge of municipal zoning and planning acts
• Certification as a Planner with the Canadian Institute of Planners
