Vermilion Forks Elementary School is hiring a part-time Band teacher for Grades 5 to 7 and Senior Band for Grades 8 to 12 starting September 1, 2026. This role focuses on inclusive music education for all students.

As a part time instructor, you will manage Band classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, catering to diverse learning needs and fostering a supportive setting. Candidates must hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and show commitment to social-emotional student support. Building solid relationships with students is critical in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct Grade 5 to 7 Band classes weekly
• Teach Grade 8 to 12 Band lessons each week
• Tailor learning resources for diverse student objectives




• Maintain positive interactions with students and families
• Work collaboratively with school personnel

Requirements:
• BC Teaching Certificate valid with the appropriate category
• Experience with adapting teaching methods
• Familiarity with the BC Curriculum
• Strong commitment to student relationships and support
• Experience working with grade-level learners
