Join the Mental Health Outpatient Team at Brockville General Hospital as a full time Psychotherapist. Focus on providing client-centered care through structured cognitive therapies and assessments. This position reports to the Manager of Community Mental Health Services.
The Psychotherapist will engage in clinical risk assessments, offer consultation, and collaborate with primary care providers. You will also conduct structured individual and group therapy for clients facing various mental health challenges, including PTSD and substance use issues. Key Responsibilities:
Complete clinical risk assessments for client safety
Provide individual and group cognitive-based treatments
Collaborate with multidisciplinary mental health teams
Advocate for clients and liaise with community services
Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives Requirements:
Master’s degree in a relevant field
Registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
3 years' experience in mental health or substance use settings
Valid BCLS and CPR certification
Completion of Suicide Intervention Training (ASIST) Utilize your clinical skills to support a diverse client base at Brockville General Hospital.
