This role centers around designing foundational observability architectures and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize performance. You’ll assess tools like Grafana and OpenTelemetry for scalability and efficiency while providing guidance to both SRE and engineering teams. Your creative mindset will help shape next-gen observability platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define observability architecture and establish technical standards
• Evaluate and standardize observability tools and practices
• Create scalable data pipelines for massive telemetry
• Implement Terraform for multi-cloud infrastructure
• Enforce instrumentation standards with OpenTelemetry
Requirements:
• 5–8 years in relevant technical positions
• Engineering or Computer Science degree preferred
• Mastery of OpenTelemetry and related systems
• Advanced knowledge of GCP and Kubernetes
• Proficient in Go, Python, or similar languages
