Bring your skills to the Flying Dust First Nation as a Qualified Electrician. Focus on the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in residential settings and community buildings.

In this role, the Electrician will manage tasks involving troubleshooting, compliance inspections, and repairs. Candidates must have a minimum of Third-Year Apprentice status with SATCC and should demonstrate solid problem-solving skills. Collaborating effectively with the Housing Department and community members is essential for a successful tenure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential electrical systems
• Conduct comprehensive inspections of housing electrical units
• Replace panels, breakers, wiring, and fixtures as needed




• Ensure all work adheres to safety and electrical codes
• Keep accurate records of inspections and completed work

Requirements:
• Third-Year Construction Electrician Apprentice minimum
• Higher status candidates preferred (Journeyperson, Red Seal)
• Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code essential
• Solid ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence mandatory
