As the International Freight Manager at Asahi Canada, you will play a significant role in ensuring the effectiveness of our logistics network. Reporting to the Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you'll manage performance metrics, refine logistics processes, and maintain vital relationships with suppliers and freight forwarders. Your entrepreneurial mindset is essential for identifying prospects for efficiency and continuous improvement across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze logistics costs and manage KPI reporting
• Oversee inbound documentation for international shipments
• Collaborate with internal teams on transport-related insights
• Manage export containers and associated documentation
• Monitor logistics costs and ensure compliance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or business
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
• Robust negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Project management experience is beneficial
