The British Columbia Geomatics team within the Transportation Group is looking for a Survey Technician/Technologist to support our operations across the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

In this role, you will contribute to technical fieldwork, assisting with data collection and surveying activities on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, enjoys travelling, and eager to learn, with a robust interest in developing a career in Geomatics.

Your Key Responsibilities

Work with safety as a top priority, actively participating in Stantec’s HSSE culture.

Perform a variety of survey including topographic, bathymetric, monitoring, 3D scanning.

Prepare survey drawings in Civil3D.

Research, purchase, and draft plans from BC Land Titles.

QA/QC of field data and drafted data.

Willingness to travel for work throughout British Columbia including overnighting with accommodations and meal allowances provided.

Physically capable of performing work outdoors in rugged terrain and all weather conditions.

Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
