Take on a pivotal role as an Environmental Scientist/Biologist at AiM Land & Environmental Services, focusing on environmental assessments and project leadership. This full time position entails significant travel and hands-on problem-solving.
AiM is on the lookout for an experienced Environmental Scientist/Biologist to join their growing team. Applicants should have more than five years of environmental consulting experience, particularly in Alberta and British Columbia. You will manage field assessments, prepare compliance reports, and guide junior staff in project tasks while documenting significant interactions with regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct wildlife and wetland environmental assessments
• Prepare and implement wildlife management and CEMP plans
• Direct and supervise junior staff in various project tasks
• Engage with clients to ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain effective communication with regulatory authorities
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Sciences or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in consulting
• Skilled accreditation (PBiol, RPBio) beneficial
• Skilled in aquatic habitat assessment
• Clean Class 5 Driver’s License.
